Chiorino Elastar® coated fabrics suit various welding techniques:

• Hot Air
• H.F. radio frequency
• Ultrasonic

Advantages of the welding technique:

• Cost Effective fabrication speeds are much faster than those of the typically labour-intensive method of cold gluing. Elastar® products require a lower power setting than those needed by PVC.
• Health and Safety solvent-based adhesives are not necessary.
• Efficient Manufacture: no waiting for adhesive to cure before fitting the boat tubes or other inflatable tubes.
• Perfect Seal and Reliability.

Customised Items

The versatility of the Elastar® thermoplastic elastomers combined with calendering know-how allow Chiorino to develop technical coated fabrics with customised colour and finish. Elastar® technical coated fabrics can be produced with TWO-COLOUR surfaces, which are reversible.

Long Life

Elastar® technical coated fabrics are plasticizer free: no cracks, no ageing, no yellowing. Stock has a very long shelf life.

Skin Friendly

Elastar® technical coated fabrics are skin friendly according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class II. Furthermore, they DO NOT SMELL when exposed to the sun.

Easy Maintenance

Thanks to the exceptional abrasion of Elastar® coated fabrics, the smoothness of the surface is very durable. This prevents dirt particles from becoming lodged and allowing easy cleaning. The end result is an appearance that stays looking good.
